POST CARE:

TEMP VIRGIN BOHO LOC

Though they are completely tensionless , it is recommended to do minimal manipulation for the first 10 days . They are extremely delicate and It is best to wait the recommended time period before styling extensively however they are installed securely .

-No additional oils , sprays , softening products on locs 2-4 weeks . However required moisture can be applied directly to scalp

-To maintain the loose boho curl detangle with paddle back brush & twist the ends each night just as you would your natural hair or loose weave to prevent friction while sleeping , simply unravel & apply fairy sap or wet with water and conditioner daily .

Cleanse and root maintenance is recommended every 9-13 weeks or as soon as 4 weeks .

Try to Avoid at-home cleansing until after initial maintenance .

-Allure Growth Oil is recommended for scalp hydration as it contains the proper consistency to hydrate scalp thoroughly without promoting build up or being too heavy. Oils that are too high consistency can cause the locs to weigh heavy leaving unwanted residue on the human hair .

It is 100% normal if any appear to sag . They will mend together uniquely as the locs age or you can simply snug / pull the sagging piece off

FAUX & LUXE LOC

No coverage (bonnet , scarf) or versatility for the first 7 days .

Do not let scalp dry out while tensed .

If root relief Is needed : Can be applied up to 4x daily for 4 days. Do not Exceed . Contact me if you feel the need to apply more after 4 days .

•Apply Fairy Sap 2x weekly directly onto loc stem/wrap, where your hair would lie underneath .

•Allure Growth Oil is recommended for scalp . Apply twice weekly to obtain required moisture and to decrease build up .

•Initial maintenance (Fairy cleanse) is recommended post 5-7 weeks (can be done sooner/as needed) to hydrate internally and decrease build up underneath loc & scalp.

•Total maintenance is usually preferred and is highly recommended post 10-13 weeks .

If you exceed/skip maintenance recommendations, increase hydration to 3x weekly . Decrease back to 2x weekly once maintenance is received.
Skipping maintenances can result in the need to remove before term.

TEMP BONÈT LOCS - CAN BEGIN STYLING SAME DAY.

APPLY FAIRY SAP TWICE WEEKLY ONTO LOC STEM WHERE YOUR NATURAL HAIR LIES UNDERNEATH FOR MAXIMUM MOISTURE . (CAN ALSO BE APPLIED ONTO BONÈT LOC FOR TEXTURE ENHANCING, CURL DEFINING & SOFTENING )

To maintain the fluffy bohemian loose curl it's essential to keep the ends moisturized as well . We recommend applying our curl defining Fairy Sap to detangle & condition along with combing the ends weekly ******

Allure Growth Oil is recommended for scalp . Apply twice weekly to obtain required moisture and to decrease build up .

At home cleansing: We recommend co wash and leave in conditioners only however still Rinse thoroughly to prevent possible damage of harsh products being left in hair.

Total maintenance is recommended post 10-13 weeks however can be done sooner if needed .

Starter coils & Starter twists - Require critical maintenance . For initial 6 months maintenance is required every 4-6 weeks. Once locs enter premature stage maintenance will decrease to every 8 weeks for 3-6 more months (until sufficiently loc’d).

Starter Plaits & Interlocs- Require maintenance every 8 weeks until sufficiently loc’d. Apply hydration (Fairy Sap) 1x weekly . Concentrated oil can be used on scalp as needed .

Loc Extensions - Suggested to book basic maintenance post 3 months to assure loc is forming internally and developing proper matrix between extension and hair .

Instant Locs (these are not extensions) - CONGRATS !!!! You skipped the premature stages entirely & will only need to return for basic maintenance as desired .

Wear compressional loc bonnet when sleeping , showering , playing sports ; activities that will make locs moist or frizz

Hydrate scalp with essential lightweight products only. Allure Growth Oil for scalp , Fairy Sap for loc stem is recommended. Avoid additional creams , grease & gels on locs.

After lying down or adding pressure , loosen them by shaking your head . Do not comb/brush through them .

Do not allow scalp to sweat excessively .

Do not cleanse with friction , color or bleach too soon.

Pat scalp (don’t scratch locs loose)

Avoid combs , brushes, Pulling ends ,altering on top (sew ins , braids, hats) too soon.
